About
Not Bad BJJ.
Not Bad BJJ was built on a simple premise: too many jiu-jitsu gyms sell either a fantasy or a franchise. This one sells neither.
What you get here is real technique, taught by a competition black belt, in a room where beginners feel welcome and serious grapplers get sharper. Adults train with adults. Kids train with kids. Nobody gets promoted because they paid enough.
The name is honest. Show up, do the work, and one day someone will tap you on the shoulder and say — that wasn't bad. That's the goal.
What we teach
Fundamentals from the ground up. Positional escapes. Guard passing. Sweeps. Submissions from every position. Modern no-gi grappling. Enough wrestling to survive an ADCC-style ruleset. Enough leg-lock literacy to know what's on the way even if you don't hunt them yourself.
What we don't
McDojo choreography. Katas. Board breaking. Contracts you can't get out of. Six-year-olds being told they're black belts. Ranked competitors selling their names to gyms they've never set foot in.
If that's what you want, we'll wish you well and point you somewhere else. If it isn't — we'd love to meet you on the mat.
